Fire Sprinkler Designer / Project Manager
Our position
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Designing Fire sprinkler systems
- Liaising with project team, suppliers, builders and sprinkler fitters
- Supervision of preparation of shop drawings with AutoCAD and Revit
- Authorise drawings for construction
- Ordering pipe and material
The successful applicant must have:
- Minimum 2 years experience in the fire protection contracting industry.
- Thorough knowledge of AS 2118.1 and the BCA.
- Experienced in the design of fire suppression systems and, possibly, fire detection systems
- Computer design knowledge with HydraCad or similar.
- Excellent design, planning and scheduling abilities.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self-motivation.
- Good communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and an ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.
